In a busy late-night evening, where the city of Woodstock held a public hearing about three major construction projects planning to take place in a neighborhood called Cardinal Woods. 706 Robin Ct, 702 Ravenwood Dr, and 704 Robin Ct are the locations of the three construction sites for these upcoming projects. Most of the local residents went to the hearing where many disagreed with the proposed projects, spoke out their opinions to the board. Even with all the persuading and arguments made by the locals, the project was given the green light to begin.

Woodstock Public meeting about ICE

The public meeting began with celebration and recognition from Woodstock’s Mayor, Micheal Caldwell, celebrating people on the board and a local police officer. The meeting took a turn when a woman in a red dress took the podium during the time to freely express your thoughts on what is going on in the city. She held behind her back a sign that shows that she does not need the governments' help in wanting to change to the community.

Elm Street Closing

A new construction project is approved to begin on Monday, March 2 in the city of Woodstock that will be a huge addition to the rapidly expanding suburban city. Elm Street, located right in the middle of downtown Woodstock next to Main Street and Mill Street where the road will be temporary closed for a period of 90 days, where construction will officially begin on March 16, where a 12-foot-wide pedestrian crossing will be.

After years of a quiet area in the city of Woodstock, a new fire station has been on the rise and is being built and will be Woodstock Fire Station 34. The new fire station is now being built, and this will make public safety in the city at an all-time high. As there are now approximately 41 thousand people living in Woodstock, as this will now make everyone feel even more safe.

One of the most rapidly expanding metro Atlanta cities, is trying to make sure that it still has its nature value, to make sure that the city stays green. Woodstock is now spending $8.1 million on parks and nature trails. Little River Park is the largest city park project that the city has seen in the past 100 years, where the park is estimated to be completed by spring 2027.

Woodstock’s Luxury Shift

With the rapidly expanding city of Woodstock, it means that more luxury homes and apartments are needed to keep the citizens of the city happy where they live. With the warm weather already here, it means more people outdoors, more shopping centers, and more luxury houses are on the rise. The city is now seeing $50M in active public capital projects and another $210M in private construction value reinforcing roads, utilities, and core systems citywide, which is now the largest building session ever in the city.

Johnston Farm Park

From downtown Woodstock to the transition to the future, Johnston Farm Park is all about to change. The city of Woodstock has multiple parks across its city, like Park at City Center, which to the locals' eyes is the front door to the city. While this park is currently very busy and noisy, Johnston’s 18 acres of land offer an escape from all of the noise to where the citizens of the city are able to enjoy a little bit of nature.
